Lighthouses Rule.

A quick post before another long one…

Listening to bands like Explosions in the Sky, 65 Days of Static, Mogwai, Godspeed!, etc. make my life seem much more adventurous than it actually is, and I love them for that.

The Start.

Well, I guess my first explanation for the “Lolcatz” post will be about the title. The short version of the story would be me telling you that I stumbled upon a Scientology protest, and thats about it. The only other layers to this story that are worth even mentioning is that it happened a block away from my dorms in Philadelphia. When I took notice to all of these nerds flocking together for a common cause, I decided to go back to my dorm to get my camera. When I first approached them, they started to bombard me with bullshit propaganda posters and home printed flyers for various websites like xenu.net & enturbulation.org. Once I actually spoke to one of them, the protesters, I found that they all assumed I was a reporter so they were trying to give me solid information, unfortunately for them, I am just a bored college student. After speaking with a few of the protesters for a few minutes I was informed of a few normals that show up, from both sides of the spectrum. The one that caught my attention the most was the one they called “Neo,” referring to the main character of The Matrix. This man wore a very “official” suit and mirrored sunglasses, a very predominate businessman look. What I was told about him is that “Neo” is a man that the Scientologists send out for most ever small to large scale protest to watch everyone and guard the building with his goons. All in all, Scientology is weird. Also, I have come to the conclusion that 98.9% of the protesters there were Nerds. Not saying that I am not one, all I’m saying is that the people fighting against Scientology definitely are.

Next story, random trip to Vermont!

“I Heard Scientologists Don’t Like LOLCATZ.”

So, I know i haven’t updated in a while, but at least now the content I am going to be writing isn’t completely random and sporadic. Well, actually, it is.

Easter weekend/spring break. I find myself sitting in my uncles summer home in the middle of nowhere, PA. had nothing better to do, so i sat around and listened to music and did some work on my laptop. At some point during that day, a good friend, Artem, asks me if i wanna go up to Burlington, Vermont with him and another friend because he has to fill in for a few shows his band is playing. Regardless, it is now Wednesday morning and I am in some dudes attic in Burlington, Vermont.

More will come.

Oh yeah, did I mention the pictures? because theres alot of them.

I didn’t really like american pie, that was a lie.

I didn’t get to see Dan Deacon last friday, but I did get the opportunity to mindlessly wander through Manhattan and Brooklyn for the night.

I need to buy a tripod.

Amazing News.

Great News for anyone that misses Arrested Development!

Too bad I dont have anything else to say.

I Still Play With Legos.

Photobucket

Legos have been around for almost sixty years now, and I have been playing with them for over fifteen. Even after all this time, they are still endlessly amusing. I find myself at least once a year playing with my giant toolbox full of Legos in my basement, and it is NEVER a dull time. Basically, what I am saying, is thank you.

Who wants to play with some Legos?

…no homo.

Horray for Pirates!

In regards to the The Bedlam In Goliath leak…

“As far as leaks and everything like that, I think it’s great. I don’t care if people “steal” our music. You can’t really steal our music because I’m making our music to be heard. If you can’t afford to buy our music, by all means take it. It’s more important that you listen to it than it is that we make money or that some corporation somewhere makes money off of it. There has to be a balance between business and just enjoyment. “

Disappointment

After a few months of laying around, I decided to plug my Super Nintendo back in and play some old school Mario games. Being bored and wanting to play something that wasn’t completely familiar, I decide to play Super Mario 2.

Photobucket

All I have to say about this game is, who the hell is this?

Photobucket

That’s not Bowser.
